A: Capital Baptist Church is a warm church where everyone belongs. We want you to feel welcome from the first moment you walk in the doors. You will find friendly greeters who are eager to answer your questions and help you settle in.
Q: Who do I talk to about being baptized?
A: Capital Baptist Church has regularly scheduled baptism services each month. Please schedule with Pastor Steve Reynolds.
Q: What is your music like?
A: Depending on which service you choose to attend, we offer a traditional or contemporary service (both are full of life).
Q: What is the teaching like?
A: Our preaching and teaching is full of the Bible and relevant to everyday life. We are committed to God's Word and want you to experience it for yourself.
Q: What do I do with my kids?
A: We have ministry in place for your children at all of our Sunday morning services. The nursery and Kids Town ministries are in place for every age group of children. Our workers are prepared to take great care of your children while providing personal ministry for each of them. Your kids will love Capital Baptist Church!
Q: If I need prayer, who do I call?
A: If you have a prayer request you can submit your request through the online communications card or by calling the church office at 703.560.3109. These requests will be prayed for weekly at our Wednesday evening prayer service.
Q: Who do I contact to visit me in the hospital?
A: If you need a visit or know of someone who does, you can either email us or call the church office at 703.560.3109 (Ext. 101) . We have a wonderful team of caring Christians in our church who would love to visit with you and pray with you.
Q: What should I wear if I visit?
A: We recommend that you dress Modest. We don't have any specific dress code for our regular services.
Q: How do I meet people?
A: There are several great ways to meet people in our church. One of the best opportunities is through Small Groups. Our classes are designed to be a small group that are dedicated to building lasting relationships in Christian community. Another great way to build relationships is by joining a ministry team. Information about ministry opportunities is available at the hospitality center.
Q: Does Capital Baptist Church offer pastoral counseling?
A: Yes, on a limited basis. We offer pre-marital, family and crisis counseling. The counseling we offer is strictly pastoral. We will refer long-term care to licensed counselors.
